Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

expungement of DUI from record

I have payed the required fine and I need to know how lone will ittakebefore my name is cleared of this charge. I have never been charged of any crime before in my life. I need to have this charged erased before I can look for a job or go back to work.

If this was A.R.D. then I think you will probably be able to get an expungement at the expiration of your period of probation. If it was not A.R.D., I'm not sure that you can get it expunged. The language in the statute on expungements is ambiguous as is the case law but in Allegheny County it is pretty much accepted in the legal community that you cannot get a case expunged if you plead or were found guilty.
