Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

i have 2 ex-husbands and 5 children, the first 4 children belong to my 1st husband who has been in prison in AL for the past 14 years for murder and it is unclear when he will get out (these children are 17,16,15,and 14 years of age) the last child belongs to amy 2nd husband who is in prson in FL for child molestation and is serving a sentence of life without parole plus 60 years. (this child is 9) my husband now wishes to adopt my children. what do we need to file? is it possible for the 2 ex's to contest?

You would need to start 2 adoption actions 1 for each dad. They would be sent paperwork to voluntarily terminate their parental rights. If they don't there would be a hearing to terminate their parental rights. I doubt they'd make it to Carlisle. Further, even if they did sounds like you have enough to win. After the rights are terminated then the adoption hearing would be held.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
