Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

child support termination

We got married in Pennsylvania in 1990, lived in NY for three years and raised two children. We were divorced in 1994. Custodial parent lives in Pennsylvania for past 12 years with children. I have been paying through Domestic Relations in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania child support - the children are now 13 and 14. Both children have been raised and lived in Pennsylvania all their lives (except when they were infants). Child support stops in NY at age 21 - but in PA, it is age 18. At what age does my my child support terminate?

Re: child support termination

Well in Pennsylvania its stops at 18 or when they graduate high school which ever happens last.

That said it doe not terminate automatically you will need to file for a modification with the Domestic Relations Office.
