Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My friend has an upcoming PFA hearing against her fiance. The temporary PFA covers both her and her 11-year-old daughter. Her daughter is the one that suffered the abuse. My question is, is it a good idea to bring her daughter to the hearing? Or is it mandatory since her daughter suffered the abuse?
