Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I am the maternal grandmother and the maternal great grandma is filing for custody of my granddaughter. She wants to give custody to someone other than me. My daughter lives in Fl, I live in Pa, the great grandma lives in Fl, and the person she wants to give the baby to lives in Md. What rights do I have? And how do I get custody of her. My daughter is living in motels and a crack addict. And do I have any rights as the grandmother?

If the child lives in RII you're going to need a RI lawyer and file for custody as a (grandparent. The problem is at least in Pa. You couldn;t do that unless the child has live with you for at least 6 months. I have no idea what the law in RI is you should find a lawyer there and ask them.
