Mediation following divorce

I would like to know how long I must continue with Mediation from a Counseling Center after divorce. I have been divorced for 4.5 years and have two children ages 12 and 15. My ex-husband uses this as a means of nit-picking and getting his way all the time. I feel like this is an infringement of my rights, I divorced this man to get him out of my life and he is in it more now than he was when we were married. Please help me if you can.

Each county has different rules, but I have never heard of a requirement that you attend mediation after divorce. Was it part of your property settlement agreement? I would be interested in viewing the documents to advise you properly.
