Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Ex is trying to move out of country

My Ex-girlfriend is trying to move out of the country with my 3 yr, old daughter. Ive been in my daughters life since she was born. I get her EVERY weekend and pay support regularly. There is no custody agreement. I need to know what my rights are in this situation, and what i need to do to ensure that i still see my daughter. Thank you.

Re: Ex is trying to move out of country

You must immediately file a Petition for Custody to obtain an Order that either prohibits her from relocating the child, or requires her to make accomodations so that you can continue your relationship with her. If she establishes residency in a foreign counrty, the laws of that country will govern the case.
