Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I will be getting a divorce - husband will be moving out - threatens to have electric shut off if I don't put the bill in my name. Can he do this if I am still living with a child in the home. This is in the state of Pennsylvania.

Divorce law and consumer law are different. If the account is in his name and he tells the electric company to shut off the power, the electric company will do so unless your child has an illness which requires electricity.

Talk to a divorce attorney now. You may be eligible for spousal support as well as child support.
