Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I am wondering if I would be able to get alimony from my husband when we divorce.

Although he makes a good income, he thinks I could not seek alimony, because I receive a monthly stipend to take care of 2 developementally disabled sr. citizens that live in my home..the stipend is for their living expenses, food, travel, entertainment..

It is a non reportable non taxable income. would those monies keep me from seeking his continued financial support after divorce.

He can think anything he wants. In a divorce you can always ask for alimony whether you get it depends on 17 factors like relative income. Whether there is enough assets so that equitable distribution would be enough.

Every case is different so even a skilled lawyer couldn't say with out more facts.
