Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Automobile Title, removing responsibilty

My ex- fiancée and I bought a car together because his credit was poor. I am primary and he is secondary on the loan. The bank has the title. We broke up and he remarried and the car is still in my name and on my credit. I want to be rid of any responsibilty from this. I understand he would have to refiance without me or get his own loan which is impossible and his wife has poor credit. Is there any documents I can send him as a scare tactic or anything at all I can do. We had a signed agreement it would be out of my name a year ago and it hasn't happened. Thank you

Re: Automobile Title, removing responsibilty

Get the payoff amount, send a letter regular and Certified Mail, demanding full payment - you don't care if he sells a kidney or gets a loan from a friend of family member, you want to pay off the loan. Give him 7-10 days contact you about getting you the money necessary to pay off the loan. If he does not, file suit at the local court, they should have a "pro-se packet" at the court house. The judge will order he pays you off. Hopefully that will be enough to get him to go find the money, because collecting is a pain in the ass. Good luck.
