custody for father

i am a father of 3. my 2 daughters live with their mother. the mother has been kicked out of her home and has no place to live so my oldest girl is going to live with the mothers mom and the youngest is going to live with the mothers friend. do i have good reasoning to try for custody? thank you

Yes, it seems that you do, based on the limited amount of information you provided. Custody is determined by the "best interest" of the children. If they are with a parent who has no home and no place to stay, and there aren't problems on your end, you should be able to articulate a valid claim for custody.
