Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

dog fight

My dog got into a fight with a neighbors dog. One small puncture wound to his dog that was not severe. I have offered to pay vet expenses, but he wants( and has threatened to sue if I dont pay) money for ''lost wages'' as he claims that he had to take off from work to flush the dogs wound every hour...he did not however take the dog to the vet until three days after the incident, even at my insistence.

Can he sue for lost wages in PA for such a situation as this?

Re: dog fight

Yes he can sue you for anything. Though to recover he's going to have to prove it. Then there's that contributory neglence issue that works in your favor.

If he sues its in DJ court. If he wins you can appeal to common pleas. If you win and he's a jerk he'll appeal.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
