What kind of lawyer should I get for a violation of my privacy and HIPA act by revealing to my mother that there is a history of illegal drug use in my medical records with out my consent?

There is no private right of action under HIPPA. This means you cannot recover any money for a HIPAA violation. If a medical facility or doctor disclosed private information it is possible you would have a negligence claim, if you can prove you suffered harm as a result of the disclosure. An experienced plaintiff's trial lawyer should be able to help you.
