Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Providing a minor with alcohol.

A mionor gave me money to purchase him 2 six packs of beer. I did not know he was under the legal age at the time. The place in which he worked at had him on camera giving me the money but not handing him the beer. Days later I received a call from his mother and then the state police. What am I facing in criminal charges and is their any jail time involved/

Re: Providing a minor with alcohol.

Go see an attorney immediately. It's one thing to ask a general question on this service. But where you face a criminal charge you need to engage an attorney immediately.

I don't practice in your locality. In many instances this doesn't matter. But in such circusmtances, notably criminal law, it is important to have an attorney that knows the local system. You should contact an attorney who practices near you. See if you have any freinds who have worked with an attorney. Or contact your local bar association and they can refer you to an attorney.

As to answer to your question, the answer is possibly and maybe.

Now go find an attorney.
