Legal Question in Health Care Law in Pennsylvania

hi! i was recently evaluated at a local state mental facility because my doctor diagnosed me with post-partum depression and followed procedure with sending me to get evaluated when he asked if i had suicidal thoughts? i was detained for almost 6 hours at this facility, only speaking to one doctor briefly for 15 mins. i was locked in a room with a bunch of drug addicts and i had a few panic attacks which didnt seem to care to them. i had my 11 month old in the waiting room the entire time i was there. even after begging them to let me leave, everything had to follow protocol meaning i couldn't just leave but i had to get discharged. i understand that but the entire thing was a very traumatic experience for me. after i finally got discharged, i got home to realize they gave me no discharge instructions regarding how to seek mental health services. no referral, no follow up, nothing. i spent a third of my day being held against my will just for trying to seek help and left with nothing. in fact the experience added to be anxiety and i have trouble sleeping at night because of it. is there anything that can be done legally? i feel like they were negligent and if thats their protocol, it should severely be updated.
