My car was wrecked by another driver. His insurance has totaled the car but only willing to give me about half the value I would like to keep the car and just fix it how would the buy back work to find the value of the wrecked car and if that number is way more what other legal options do i have
The value of the car to replace it about 6000.00 Nationwide will pay 3110.00
I talked to a junkyard they say is about 4 to 5 hundred dollars at a salvage auction Please help i need a car

The Defendant's insurance company's obligation is only to pay you the fair market value of the car, not the repair value, when the car is a total loss. If you want to keep the car and get it repaired, you will have to get a "salvage title" after the repairs are made (so that when you sell the car, the buyer knows your car has been in a bad wreck). Getting a salvage title is a pain in the butt!
