I would suggest you obtain an attorney to investigate the situation. Another thing you may consider is to contact the state of pennsylvania regarding dormant bank accounts. if your grandfather had an account in his name which was just in an account after he died, then after a number of years the account escheats to the state. However you can always get the funds by making a claim with the state. the same would apply if the account was left in trust for you. You should check the state under your grandfathers name and yours.
