Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

I may need an attorney for a unemployment compensation case. I heard that some law schools have students who will represent people for free for the experience. Is this true and where can I get in touch with them? I need to appeal within about six days, so time is of the essence. Thank you.

I am not sure if law students can represent you in this matter. You could call the legal aid dept of temple law school to see if they provide attorneys for this type of matter. You also may try the legal aid in the county where your unemployment hearing is cheduled to occur if they provide counsel. If not you willo have to determine whether you want to hire an attorney which may make sense. You say you need to appeal however so if you had a hearing and lost it is unlikely that you would be able to get a student to file an appeal or even legal aid.
