Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

My commercial truck company is telling drivers we are salaried based on a 60 hour straight time only work week. Shouldn't we be paid time and a half over 40? They also are saying we owe them hours if we fall under the salaried 60 hour week. Something is wrong here.....

You are correct, in that there may be a serious overtime pay issue here. A potentially very important fact though is whether you drive interstate (even a little, across state lines) or are carrying loads that have already travelled across state lines (say picking up trailers at a transfer station for local delivery). Feel free to call me at 702-383-6085 to discuss. Although my office is in Nevada I am licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and am a member of the Pennsylvania bar.
