Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

In the state of Pennsylvania, how long does a landlord have to return a security deposit? On my original lease with my old landlord, it would be within 30 days. However, my landlord is in the process of returning my security deposit outside of the 30 days and is trying to charge me for damages.

The law is clear the landlord has 30 days to return the security deposit. If he wants to take any of the security deposit he has to tell you how much and return what's left in 30 days. If he doesn't you can take him to the DJ to get your whole deposit back plus the cost f taking hi to the DJ.
