Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Is a tenant of a rented house obligated to pay for utilities once keys are turned in and have moved out of the house, letting the landlord know? Utilities are under the names of the other tenants with the service provider and they pay the companies directly, so the former tenant has no contract with utility providers. The other tenants are also subletting the house (without making all tenants aware of a new subletter), and trying to make the former tenant pay a share of utilities that they are not using at all and being used by subletters. There is no written agreement between tenants agreeing to paying utilities if subletters are there. When the issue was brought up with one of the other tenants in order to come to an agreement, no agreement was reached because other tenant was unwilling to come to an agreement. Also, landlord is not involved the payment of any utilities, the demand for the former tenant's payment is coming strictly from the remaining tenants.

So what are they going to do if you don't pay? Take you to DJ court? If they don't have anything signed by you how are they going to prove you owe anything? They could try but now that you moved out what is their theory on why you owe dime one?
