Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Per the terms of my month to month lease I sent my landlord a 30 day notice. The notice was sent by certified mail on May 27 for a June 30 termination. According to the USPS the landlord has been notified that the letter is waiting for them but the landlord refused to pick-up the letter. Will the landlord be able to say I never gave proper notice or does the fact that I sent it by certified mail cover me for the June 30 termination should there be an issue.

Did you also send it first class? A lot of people don't go out of their way to take certified letters. By sending a first class letter at the same time.to the same address is pretty good evidence they go it.
