Burnt by battery acid

I was purchasing batteries at a local store and one of them was defective and it leaked out and when he dropped the battery It splashed all over my legs. which are very burnt and staring to scar. What kind of legal advice could I get . They have sent me a claim form to fill out for my pain and suffering But I don't know what I should put on the form.

You definitely should talk to a lawyer before sending in this claim form or signing anything else. You may be entitled to money damages from the store, the maunfacturer and/or any middle-men. This written statement can be used against you to limit your damages or to put some/all of the blame on you. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.

You should consult with an attorney first. You may be giving up rights when you submit the form they gave you. You may be entitled to compensation for your injury and if you sign a release form you will giving up some of your rights.

DON'T SIGN ANYTHING!!! Consult an attorney before you do anything else.

You could be entitled to money damages from the store, from the distributor of the batteries, from those who shipped them, and/or from the manufacturer of the batteries.

No question at all----do not sign anything. The form they sent you will probably result in you waiving your rights to get the compensation you deserve. Call an attorney before you do anything else.
