Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

I bought a house in 2005 with 2.01 acres of land from a subdivision, in 2014 the neighbors decided to have their land surveyed and it was found that the pins were set wrong back in 2005 and the surveyor has decided to keep the pins set in the wrong position and just have a lawyer change the deeds to match the locations. However, this makes me lose acreage and drops my property from 2.01 to 1.886. I have been using my property according to the maps and deed this whole time. Do I have a chance in fighting this? And what do I need to do?

So you had a lawyer when you bought the house. You need to contact him. The sellers were to provide you with a survey or at least a tape map when you bought the place. I think the surveyor who didn't fix the pins has at beast a little explaining to do and possibly some check writing. You need to contact your lawyer and have him deal with it.
