Forecloser on a second mortgage

I am up to date on my first mortgage, I'm behind on the second mortgage. The finance company is threating to foreclose on the second mortgage. Can they do this? It was opened as a revolving credit account.

The second mortgage can foreclose. The first mortgage would not be extinguished. If you just need some time to catch up, you may consider chapter 13 bankruptcy. I offer free consultations.

Yes, since the 2nd mortgage was liened against the property they can foreclose on you. How far are you behind in payments....you should speak with an attorney as quickly as possible, because time is of the essence right now!
