Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Our house is located on a private road with 6 other houses. Is it illegal for us to park to front of someone else's house? We live in a duplex of 2 units and there is only 3 parking spots in front of the house. Both halves have 2 adults and 2 cars for each house. We rent and my landlord just received a letter from a lawyer saying no one could park in front of the neighbors house. I'm confused because we are not parking in a parking spot, its more of spot where the road gets wider but the neighbor is having a fit. This is what the parking looks like l l l -- --this car is the one in front of the other property. The neighbor has 2 parking spaces at the rear of his house and in the 10 years that we've been here, he has never parked anywhere other than his rear parking. Can he tell us that we are not allowed to park on the road just because it is in front of his property?

From my perspective this seems a tad inappropriate. The offended party hired a lawyer to write a letter to your landlord. If where you parked put their knickers is a knot why didn't they just approach you. The cheap and inexpensive approach and if everyone acts adult, effective.

So either they spent a couple of hundred on a letter to someone who isn't parking where they don't like.

Question: Does the offended party own the road?

Let me know.
