Property

I have a car I am trying to sell on my property. The local police sent us a letter stating that if I do not remove the vehicle or get the vehicle inspected, that I will have to pay a fine or serve jail time. Is that legal?

There is probably a local ordinace that prohibits unregistered/uninspected vehicles on your property. If so, then it is legal.
