Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

There is property in Pennsylvania that has been abandoned for almost 10 years. I have decided to clean it up, make repairs, change locks and take the property through adverse possession. I have done my due diligence on the property, tried to locate the owners, found the previous owners went bankrupt several years ago and they owe 5 years back taxes. Each time I contact them (previously a church of sorts) they continue to say that they don't own the property and they don't know who does. They are clearly owners of record. Still the refuse to acknowledge the property. What is my next step? I have actual possession, I am open and notorious in my usage of the land, and I am holding it in hostile possession. If the police try to remove me, what are my options.

Yes but adverse possession requires over 20 years of occupation.

If there are taxes owed contact the tax collector to see if there is possibility of a tax sale.
