Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

Sexual harrassment in the workplace

My first night on a new job and one of the male employees told me to step up on the scale and weigh myself. When I refused he stated that I was admitting to being fat. The next night he kept making the comment of how he hates short, fat girls. A few nights later we were discussing work attire and when I stated the reason for not wearing a particular top was that I did not have pants to match it , he informed me that I could come to work without pants on and that would be fine by him. Another night I was sitting in the Nurses lounge trying to make small talk. I stated that my boyfriend and myself were going to start mountain biking in the mornings when we get off work. I made the statement that I hoped he didn't want to go biking in the morning because I was already tired at this point in the night. The male employee told me to just go home and Mount my boyfriend and call it good. He also refers to my boyfriend as my ''boy toy''. There have been numerous other remarks made. Are these remarks considered grounds for sexual harrassment?

If the facts are as you relate then it appears you may have an actionable claim. How long ago did these events happen? Did you complain to a supervisor or file a complaint with Human Resources. These and other facts are important. You should contact an attorney to discuss this at once. If you would like to speak withmy office then you may contact me.
