Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

License Suspension via judgment

I want to know if there is anyway possible to let the license back.

The lawyer won a 5,000.00 and revoked or suspended the drivers license. How is one to work to even pay this judgement if they do not have a license. Would it be worth it going to a lawyer to win back the license and work something reasonable to pay back the judgment.

Thanks

Denise

Re: License Suspension via judgment

I am assuming that this involves a vehicle accident where you did not maintain insurance. if a valid judment has been entered against you, and you did not have insurance at the time, you will not get your license back until you either pay the judgment in full, or make suitable arrangements with the attorney or party that sued you. for that amount, it would be silly to hire an attorney to attempt to get the license back. he would likely require $750 to $1500 to attempt to do so. you would be better off giving that money to the judgment creditor and attempting to work something out with them.
