Re: Almost cleared by doctor

I am assuming that you were injured in the course aned scope opf your employment while you lived in PA or were employed by a PA employer thus making it a PA claim. There is no single triggering event that will result in a settlement offer. Rather, there are various times and events which may result in an offer. Settlements in WC are based solely on an exchange of your rights to future benefits for a lump summ of money. Your future benefits are typically wage loss and medical benefits.

You should not settle your case on your own. We can discuss the value of your claim and the best time and method for approaching a possible settlement. Please contact my office and speak to Jim Monaghan, our workers compensation expert, regarding your case.
