Pennsylvania Worker's Compensation Law has strict time limitations regarding when you are able to treat with a provider outside of the "Panel Physicians". You should speak with an attorney experienced in Worker's Compensation that can advise you of your rights. Feel free to contact me for a free consultation at (267) 210-8752

You only have to go to one of their docs if they complied w/ regulations about posting a list of docs in a conspicuous place at your workplace. The actual regulation is too complicated to discuss here. Discuss this with an experienced work comp atty. If you need names of experienced attys in your area, feel free to call me. Employees are required to treat with a medical provider on the employer's list of designated physicians for the first 90 days after the initial visit. Choosing a doctor from off the list may result in a denial of payment. The list must be posted at the workplace and must meet minimum requirements. In my experience, many employers either do not have a valid list or improperly insist that an employee treat with one particular doctor. You should consult with a lawyer immediately about your situation. Feel free to call me for a no cost, no obligation consultation. (800) 433-9700
