Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

in PA, if I subpeona a co-worker for a WC hearing,does the employer have to allow that employee to go and can they(employer) hold that against them?

If they don't let the employee go they are in contempt and if they retailiate they can be sued by the employee. PA Courts have held that requesting an co-worker to appear at a workers' comp hearing is within the public policy exception allowing suit for wrongful discharge.
