Re: child support

Why don't you engage a US counsel to file the petition for child support in the US. You can make a contingent arrangement with him. You have a strong case for child support. Your proof that he acknowledged your child is the fact that he has been sending US$100 support. Just surf the internet to look for US lawyers who have the expertise on child support and who is willing to handle the case on a contingent arrangement or pro bono.

Re: child support

Greetings!

First, I would advise you, since he have no plan to marry you, secure an acknowledgement from him. A simple letter of acknowledgement will do.

Second, save all your evidences for future use.

Third, as regard to your question of your child support. Support can differ considering the following:

1. Capability and capacity of the provider; and

2. The needs of the child to be supported.

For now, one hundred dollar is enough, provided that you may ask for additional, for medical and check-up purposes.

As the child goes older, your support can be adjusted to meet the needs of your child.

If in case the father of your child refuses, you can ask me for assistance to file support before the court so that the latter will award the enough support to your child specially he is a foreigner and capable to provide enough support to your child.
