Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Consultant to a Criminal Organization

I am thinking about starting a consulting firm, for which I would be the primary consultant. Many of my clients would likely be criminals, operating criminal organizations. It is not exactly what I'm planning, but as an analogy, suppose I advised a drug-selling gang on the optimal prices and sales strategies they should use. Would my behavior be illegal or criminal?

Yes. It is at least conspiracy.

It is not only close to Conspiracy, but its dangerously close to Aiding & Abetting, possibly in violation of RICO statutes and in South Carolina as well as other state and federal laws, its close to what is referred to as Hands of One, Hands of all. When I say, "close," I am using that term loosely as I am not sure to what extent you will be advising these people. [email protected]
