You have not stated the official name of the charge. However, I think the charge that you are referring to is a misdemeanor and carries potential jail and/or fine. If you didn't show for court, then there is a good chance you were found guilty in your absence. Therefore, there would have been a sentence. Usually its a fine. To be on the safe side, you should immediately contact the court and ask what the sentence is and then if it was simply a fine, pay it immediately.
