Holding my property

What are my options if law officer is holding a pistol

that was taken from my brothers

home, where i left it when i spent the night there? My brother is on probation and not supposed to be in possesion

of a weapon. It is my fault the gun was there. My record is completely clean, not even a speeding ticket.

You have to be very careful or you could end up being charged with a crime. You should not give any statements to law enforcement at this point. You need competent representation to help you in this situation.
