Legal Question in DUI Law in South Carolina

I got charged with a DUS 2nd offense and they are saying that it is considered DUI related? What charges am i looking at? My license was still suspended but i am not sure if the dui suspension was active or now

Its hard to say for sure without more information. These cases are treated on at a time and it all depends on a number of things, all of which I do not know. It depends on how the prosecutor and judge feel about your particular charge, what your whole record looks like, how long ago the first DUS was, and so on. Please understand that there IS a possible defense to these charges. And, if your every arrested and convicted of a DUS 3d Offense, there is mandatory jail time of 90 days, minimum.
