Legal Question in DUI Law in South Carolina

My husband was in a car accident they charged him with DUI 2nd and DUS 1st.He is still in the hospital for the past month and may haveanother month to go. what do you think the judge might do, this happend in south carolina.

I would really like to answer your question, but I really can't without more information. There are so many things that are taken into consideration with these kind of cases that any prediction I might make would be purely guess-work and that wouldn't be fair to your husband. The things that an attorney would need to know would be, the defendant's past record, how long ago the first DUI was, how much alcohol he had in him, whether anyone else was injured in the accident, who caused the accident, how much evidence there is and what type of evidence there is, and so forth. There are quite a few other things that would probably be taken into consideration.

I can tell you this however. Your husband really needs an attorney. These are serious charges and the sentence could be quite severe. You are welcome to call and ask questions.
