Attorney Ethics

If a Director of Special Services for a School District knowingly provides false information to an investigator at the Office of Civil Rights and the School District's attorney is aware, Is the Attorney obligated to have the correct information reported

This is a very interesting question. I practice in the area of special education law quite frequently and I believe that this relationship frankly often goes far afield of some other attorney-client relationships. As far as whether they are required to report this information, I would need to know more specifically what type of information and was misrepresented and how, and what the investigation was regarding.
