Legal Question in Legal Ethics in South Carolina

Child care enrollment

I am deciding whether to enroll my child in day care. On the application in the parent contract, there is aa statement that says we are not responsible for injuries or accident. To what extent is this and does it include things like, negligence or wrongful death?

Re: Child care enrollment

The statement is legally ineffective. The Center must use the highest level of care to ensure the safety of your child. They are the custodians of a minor while the child is there and they must protect the child from their negligence as well as that of others.
