Every case is different and has to be valued depending on the facts, circumstances and evidence on a case-by-case basis. It all depends on numerous things. What was in the candy, how it got there, what can be proven, the costs of such a law suit, whether there was an injury and if so, how serious it was, whether the injury required medical attention and the cost of such medical treatment, whether there was any contributing negligence on the part of the consumer, etc. This is just a sampling of what an attorney would consider. There is no way of telling you the settlement value of such a case without an attorney knowing this and other information.

The best thing you can do is consult with an attorney in person and let the attorney ask you the questions that he/she would need to know in order to advise you.

Good luck.
