Legal Question in Real Estate Law in South Carolina

I changed my car insurance to a 1,000 deductable, and now the auto salesman want to repo my car, never was late with the payment. What can I do?

Its a little hard to answer your question, since you didn't provide much in the way of details. Without knowing the specifics, all an attorney can do is guess. My guess would be that you have a contract with the auto dealership and you financed the car through the dealership. I would further guess that the contract states that you must keep a certain dollar amount as the deductable, and what you changed your policy to, does not comply with the amount in the contract. All of this is nothing more than guess-work.

So, to answer your question as to what you can do, I would first tell you that maybe you might want to talk with the salesman and ask him why he wants to repo the car. I would then double check the contract you signed to see if it is consistant with what the saleman is complaining about.
