Legal Question in Workers Comp in South Carolina

workers comp

I got hurt a couple of months ago from a fall. I deliver milk and cannot lift the crates. They let someone ride with me and do all the lifting. Now they tell me if i am not realeased from the dr in 2 weeks they are gonna put me out of work . In short no more light duty. Can they do this since they have let me have light duty for 3 months already?

Re: workers comp

The employer can refuse to continue providing light duty; however, you will be entitled to receive weekly checks from the workers' comp insurance company once that happens. If light duty is denied, it will likely increase the value of your workers' compensation claim too. Feel free to contact me if you have other questions or need assistance.
