i worked at a place 26 years i found out i have rhematoid arthritis about a month later i was fired . what can i do

It depends on the reason for the termination. If you believe that you were terminated because of the rheumatoid arthritis, then you should consult with an attorney. In some instances, rheumatoid arthritis can be considered a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act. If it is an ADA and the employer terminated you because of your disability, then you may have a claim under the ADA for wrongful termination.
