Legal Question in Medical Leave in Tennessee

is this FMLA
can i be fired for missing work to carry my girlfriend to the dr. we were to be married on eastert sunday but the we before we had a miss carrage. well we had to have a dnc done and her beta hg somethingsky rocked, so we hadto get another one at another hospital. The beta hg level was suppost to go down in the hundreds after the dnc but it went o 100k 's then aftrer the second dnc it went to 250+ k's. Dr. sayed that if the levels styed up the high it can cause tumbers and cancer. She has to take kemo now every week on thursday. we would have got married but we would loss the insurse that pays all medical. My forman told me i better find someone else to carry her up there it 80+miles one way and after her treat ment she falls asleep for hrs,if she would not be so tired she could drive her self. Even though we r not married she is my wife in all the sense. Her mom is trying to help us by taking her but when she cant i do. does this fall under FMLA?

No. The FMLA does not apply to a girlfriend relationship.
