Legal Question in Employment Law in Tennessee

Bonus Hours Earned

I recently left my place of employment, an IT company, where I was on a Salary basis, and in the contract it stated any hours over 30 per week would count for bonus pay at $25/hour. The contract states that the bonus pay is based on company performance and hours over 30 billed.

They are not saying they won't pay the amount of bonus time I earned last quarter that was due to be paid in October (My last day was Sep 29). They instead want to pay an arbitrary number that is not the full amount and only pay half now and the rest when the company they had me contracted out to pays the remaining bills.

Somthing seems wrong with this picture. They are saying they are not required to pay me anything.

Help?
