if a company starts forcloser and you get a job and send 5 payments in 3 weeks and the company sends them back is that legal

Once a foreclosure is commenced the debt has been accelerated so that full payment is due in its entirely. As a result, absent an agreement with you to the contrary, the lender is entitled to refuse the payments. You may want to consider a Chapter 13 bankruptcy where you can cure the default inside your plan and keep your house by making payments on the loan. An experienced bankruptcy attorney will be able to explain your options.
