Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Will

I have a will giving everything to my only daughter. Recently I remarried, this is my third marriage. I have a net worth of about $250,000.00. My new wife brought nothing of value into the marriage and actually has $20,000 of debt. How is this marriage going to affect the will I had, and how can I make sure my daughter doesn't lose a large portion of my net worth?

Re: Will

Your wife may ahve a claim against your estate depending on how long you are actually married.. There are steps you can take to protect these assets including a post nupital agreement or retitling of assets. You need to meet with an attorney to discuss theese options.
