Legal Question in Workers Comp in Tennessee

After Surgery doctor prescribed medicine that pharmasist caught that could have

I was hurt on the job which ruptured lumbar 5si i had my surgery which absoutely did not help my leg pain. I am going to try for a disk fusion. But my question is my doctor prescribed me loratab 7.5 1 to 2 every 3 to 4 hours for pain. The pharmasist would not fill this because of the danger of overdose and liver damage it could cause. So she called the doctor and she made a comment that don't you care. He said to fill it anyway but the pharmasist prescribed it the right way. Is that negligence? I am definately going to get another doctor if i can.

It appears that the doctor may have committed an act of negligence but you have no injuries or damages from that. Before you can sue for malpractice, you must have both negligence and resulting injuries or damages. I would be interested in talking with you about your worker's compensation claim as you may have a good claim....Bill Poland
